I have just come across this site and it is full of interesting nuggets! Is this a typical house for the period? Have any of these been preserved to see today?
Hi Andy, Thanks for your comments, the photos are very popular. I have seen quite a few photos of this type of house so I think it ma be typical of the period although most of the houses of that period were built of wood and stone. The photo was titled Tenerife Campesinos which translates as Gypsies. Perhaps this type of house preceded what we now know as a mobile home! Regards, Lestie.
