Tenerife drives towards Corporate Tourism

Tenerife is now gaining a share of the corporate tourism market because it can now offer a wide range of conference facilities in addition to some great attractions to promote a feel good factor for delegates.

Recent corporate visitors have included Alcon, Axa, Audi, Cisco, Henkel, Lenovo and Macdonalds. There are some great hotels with conference facilities, including the 5* Hotel San Blas Reserva Ambiental, an eco-tourism resort with capacity for 600 delegates, which opened in December 2008. There is also the new 5* Gran Melia Palacio de Isora which has various options for reception space for up to 1000 delegates. For a larger reception venue there is always the Magma Art and Congress Centre which has an amphi-theatre for an audience of 1500 persons. See a video of the Magma Arts and Congress Centre in Las Americas.

Jollying activities on the Island are almost too numerous to mention, including the new Siam Park Water Kingom and the Loro Parque, both star attractions on the Island. There are also facilities for go-karting, quad biking, diving, boating and deep sea fishing. For the less energetic there are numerous cultural and sight-seeing excursions which would appeal to all types of delegate. See the full range of Tours and Excursions.

Tenerife is probably the shortest flight time from the European hub airports to a location which offers great all year round weather in addition to great corporate hosting facilities.

The drive on expanding Tenerife Tourism is gearing up with Tenerife having taken a step further towards being a top tourist destination for the corporate business sector.
